We are delighted to welcome you to the 27th European Conference on Organometallic Chemistry (EuCOMC 27), which will be held in Perugia, Italy, from June 27 to July 1, 2027.

With a long-standing tradition of bringing together leading scientists, early-career researchers, and students from across Europe and beyond, EuCOMC provides a vibrant forum for presenting cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and discussing emerging directions in organometallic chemistry. Beyond the scientific programme, the conference offers a unique opportunity to establish new connections, strengthen existing collaborations, and foster interactions across generations, disciplines, and geographical boundaries.

Organometallic chemistry has always occupied a special position at the crossroads of different areas of science. By combining the extraordinary diversity of metal centres with the structural and functional versatility of organic ligands, it provides a natural bridge between molecular synthesis, catalysis, materials science, energy, medicine, and biology. Today, this interdisciplinary character is more relevant than ever. Organometallic chemistry plays a central role in the development of increasingly efficient and selective catalytic processes, sustainable chemical transformations, functional and responsive materials, molecular systems for energy conversion and storage, and new approaches to diagnostics and therapy.

EuCOMC 27 aims to reflect this breadth and vitality, bringing together fundamental and applied research and encouraging dialogue between traditionally distinct scientific communities. We hope that the meeting will not only showcase the latest achievements in the field, but also stimulate unexpected connections and new ideas at the interfaces where some of the most exciting advances in chemistry are taking place.
